Some staggering statistics from Ontario Provincial Police.
In the past seven days, OPP have responded to seven separate fatal collisions, with eight people killed.
This includes three pedestrians and a motorcyclist.
Sergeant Kerry Schmidt with the OPP says these crashes were caused by drivers not paying attention, failing to yield, improper passing, and aggressive driving.
He notes aggressive driving, which includes speeding is the “number one killer across the province.”
