The Kitchener-Waterloo Association of Realtors and Cambridge Association of Realtors are now one.
The two associations have amalgamated to become the Waterloo Region Association of Realtors.
On Wednesday, the board of directors appointed Megan Bell as president, Christal Moura as president-elect and Val Brooks as immediate past president of the new entity.
Bill Duce is CEO of the new association. He had been executive officer of the K-W association since 2008.
“Bringing these two associations together just makes sense,” Duce explained in a news release. “As one board, we can better serve the needs of our Realtor members and stakeholders and give a voice to the region’s real estate market.”
The new association's membership consists of close to 2,500 licensed real estate brokers and salespersons.
