Man airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after motorcycle crash in Waterloo

Police say charges are expected following the Saturday night crash

A man has been airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle crash in Waterloo.

Regional Police say it happened Saturday just before 9 p.m. in the Weber Street North area near the Sobeys.

A motorcycle was reportedly heading north when it collided with a Mazda. The man on the motorcycle was thrown off his vehicle and taken to Grand River Hospital, but was later airlifted to Hamilton.

Police say charges are expected, they are asking any witnesses to give them a call.
