Lodge family asking for community prayers

Online journal entries detail the tragic crash that took the life of 12-year-old Evan as he was coming home from an afternoon cross-country skiing with his family.

Now his sisters Alyssa and Amanda are recovering in hospital. Their dad Gregson says Alyssa has “improved dramatically and was smiling and laughing while taking her first walk with a walker”.

In the latest journal entry, he wrote that the family is feeling concerned about Amanda, who continues to fight for her life.

“Our worst fears are being realized for Amanda. I'm sick and scared as our grief is worsening.”

Parents Gregson and Susan say they will remain in the hospital to watch over their children. They are asking for prayers from the community.

They said they currently do not need any food or financial assistance.
