A pair of restaurants in Waterloo Region are among the top 100 in Canada for 2022, according to OpenTable.
The restaurants were selected using more than one million reviews left by OpenTable diners.
Charcoal Steak House in Kitchener, and Waterloo's The Bauer Kitchen both made the list, which was released on Wednesday.
48 Ontario restaurants made the list, followed by Alberta (23), British Columbia (18), Quebec (9) and New Brunswick (1).
“We’re seeing a strong interest in a variety of dining establishments and experiences this year, and strong representation from traditional continental to diverse international cuisines,” OpenTable Canada Country Director, Matt Davis, explained in a news release.
“This diner-generated reference guide stands apart from others because it’s a reflection of diners’ most beloved restaurants across the country. Only those who book via OpenTable and dine are able to leave a review.”
