The Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford-Perth is getting in the Halloween spirit.

The organization has launched a Howl-O-Ween photo contest for the second year in a row, which also acts as a fundraiser.

You can upload a photo of your pet dressed up for Halloween and there is a $10 entry-fee.

Community members can then vote online for their favourite costumed pet, and it costs $1 for five votes.

Tax receipts will be provided for donations of $10 or more.

The contest runs until the end of the month and the top prize is a $50 gift card for Ren's Pets.
