Wilfrid Laurier University says it will welcome its largest-ever incoming class during the fall semester.
As of June 1, over 4,800 Ontario high school students had accepted an offer of admission to begin their first-year studies at Laurier. It's an over 18 per cent increase compared to 2020.
"Laurier continues to be a top choice for students looking for strong academics, innovative programs, a sense of community and an outstanding student experience," Tony Vannelli, provost and vice-president: academic, said in a news release. "Our approach to developing students within a thriving and inclusive community continues to attract high-achieving students."
The university has campuses in Waterloo, Kitchener, Brantford, Milton and Toronto.
WLU is planning to return to in-person learning in time for the fall semester.
