KW Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year event to honour Country 106.7’s Jennifer Campbell

The KW Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year event will feature a tribute to Jennifer Campbell from Country 106.7's morning show, Campbell, PJ & Billie. 

Organizers said on social media that Cambridge brother and sister duo, The Reklaws, will perform the tribute during the online event set to take place May 4.

Campbell conducted the first radio interview with the band early in their career. 

Jennifer Campbell passed away after a battle with cancer in early February. 

This year's event will honour women in a number of categories including Arts & Culture, Community Service, Entrepreneur, Health & Wellness, Lifetime Achievement, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math (STEAM); and Young Adult.

A portion of the ticket sales will support the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region.
