Kitchener TSC store converting into Peavey Mart as part of province-wide transition

By Ariel Deutschmann

The TSC store in Kitchener is getting a 'brand' new makeover.

Starting September, all locations across the province will be changing brands to become Peavey Mart stores.

Retail outlets will undergo the transition this fall, followed by the launch of a national Peavey Mart flyer program in January 2021, along with a new Peavey Mart website.

According to a release from Peavey Industries LP, the transition will be completed in February 2021, resulting in 89 stores under the Peavey Mart brand.

Peavey Industries says the transition is expected to cause only minimal disruption for customers at TSC Stores and on the TSC Stores website.

Designated as 'Canada's Largest Farm & Ranch Retailer,' President and CEO of Peavey Industries, Doug Anderson, says they had a vision of creating a 'company of one' ever since buying controlling interest in TSC Stores LP back in 2016. All TSC Stores were acquired by Peavey Industries at the end of 2017.

“Having recently achieved this with the completed integration of our programs, departments, services, operating systems, and ongoing product alignment,” said Anderson in the release, “It makes sense for our next action to be the combining of these two major retail entities into a single national brand.”

“We are eager to move forward with this conversion, strengthening our corporate brand while further streamlining our internal processes.”
