Jacob Hespeler SS set to reopen Wednesday

By CityNews Kitchener Staff

Jacob Hespeler Secondary School will reopen for in-person learning on Wednesday.

The school has been closed the last two days.

“This weekend, our school experienced flooding in a number of classrooms, which Facility Services and contractors have been working to address, and as a result of their hard work, our school is now able to reopen for classes Wednesday,” read a release from the Waterloo Region District School Board.

Students are being told to be mindful when returning to school, and to follow signs and teacher instructions regarding areas that are still being cleaned up and restored.
