Interac has opened a new innovation lab in Kitchener at Communitech.
Vice President of Digital Product and Platforms with Interac, Debbie Gamble tells 570 NEWS that having a global brand in our community will benefit everyone.
She explains what they'll be up to at the Hub on 151 Charles Street West.
“Ideate and accelerate on new use cases, new capabilities, leveraging some cool new technology, so we continue to have the ability to service Canadians in the digital future.”
Interac Lab Director Tricia Gruetzmacher adds this is a great opportunity for Waterloo Region to have another global brand in the area.
“Joining the Communitech community is also a big step for us because of all the success with all the other corporate labs in the building here.”
Co-op students from math, science and engineering programs will also be using the lab.
