The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth is in urgent need of residents who can help foster dogs.

16 of the 21 large breed dogs in its care are currently on-site between the centres in Kitchener and Waterloo.

HSKWSP provides medical care, food, training, and other supplies.

The volunteer foster caregivers provide temporary homes for animals waiting to find their forever homes.

"Fostering a pet is an enriching experience. You help them when they need it the most, and play a critical role in their journey to a forever home,” said Kathrin Delutis, chief executive officer, HSKWSP. “With a growing need, I’m hopeful that our communities will answer our call out.”

You can find more information on the Humane Society's website.
