** Highway 7/8 reopened just after 9:30 p.m. **
OPP reporting Highway 7/8 is fully closed through New Hamburg.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes are shut down between Haysville and Nafziger following a serious two-vehicle crash at Hamilton Road.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says one driver was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
There's no current reopening time known, and traffic is jammed in the area.
*401 callers to 570 NEWS say northbound lanes on Hamilton Road are also blocked approaching Highway 7/8.
