Some Grade 3 students in Kitchener have raised more than $1,300 for St. Mary's General Hospital.
The group of kids at Laurentian Hills Christian School held a lemonade stand fundraiser just over a week ago.
Their goal was to raise money to help St. Mary's purchase an MRI machine, and show appreciation for staff and their hard work through the pandemic.
Each cup of lemonade cost $1.50, and all in all, $1,355 was raised.
THANK YOU to Miss Breanne DeHaan's 3rd Grade class at @LaurentianHills for raising $1,355 for MRI at @StMarysGenHosp during their Lemonade Fundraiser on June 16! Well done, LHCS students, and thank you for supporting St. Mary's! https://t.co/XOOSqSMB6A pic.twitter.com/Mmqt6cvmZ5
