By Erin Anderson

A fundraising initiative has launched for A Better Tent City.

According to tiptap Foundation, residents will see a travelling tiny home over the next month.

The roadshow is expected to make stops at local schools and churches, as well as the Kitchener Market, Belmont Village, and the TheMUSEUM.

Details on stops and locations can be found online

Residents looking to help can make a donation with a simple 'tap' of your credit or debit card, or you can donate online.

A Better Tent City was previously located at Lot42 in Kitchener but was forced to find a new location after the property was sold.

Work is underway to move A Better Tent City to Woolwich, pending approval from council.

The fundraising campaign runs from June 3 to August 2, and the goal is $500,000.
