Frederick Art Walk to celebrate 20 years

By CityNews Kitchener Staff

Like everything else, the Frederick Art Walk has had to adapt due to the pandemic.

The annual event, which will celebrate 20 years this weekend, will take place outside. Normally held in November, the annual event was moved up to October to take advantage of the warmer weather.

The original goal of the Frederick Art Walk was to showcase the huge amount of artistic talent found in Kitchener's downtown.

Organizers say the walk typically showcases between 80 and 90 artisans.

The event takes place Sat. Oct. 16 and Sun. Oct. 17 — from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
