Fog advisory lifted for region (updated)

Environment Canada had warned of near zero visibility at times, with fog rapidly dissipating throughout Thursday morning

A fog advisory issue for Waterloo Region on Thursday morning has since been lifted. 

Environment Canada said there will be persistent fog during the early morning hours and there could be near zero visibility at times, expected to rapidly dissipate throughout the morning. 

The weather agency has since ended its fog advisory.
