It was an exciting day at the Region of Waterloo International Airport for aviation enthusiasts.
The first plane belonging to Flair Airlines landed at the local airport on Friday afternoon.
In February, the region and Flair inked an agreement to provide non-stop domestic flights to Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Halifax.
The inaugural flight to Edmonton, which will continue on to Vancouver, is scheduled to leave at 7 a.m. on Saturday.
Flair is also currently looking to hire 24 flight attendants.
