Eastbound 401 lanes reopened through Milton (update)

The eastbound lanes of Highway 401 have now reopened through the area of Trafalgar Road.

The Ministry of Transportation reports the closure due to an earlier collision has since cleared. The previous closure of the north and south on-ramp lanes at Trafalgar Road has also been cleared. 

While traffic is once again flowing through the area, the MTO is now reporting emergency roadwork on the eastbound 401 at the 407, blocking the right shoulder and two right lanes through that area. In addition, the eastbound ramp to the 407 is also closed for emergency roadwork. 

There is no estimated time of completion for that roadwork.
