Crafty Ramen heading to Dragons’ Den

By CityNews Kitchener Staff

The first Crafty Ramen shop opened its doors in Guelph in 2017 before expanding to Kitchener, and now the co-founders are putting their business model before a major panel of judges.

Crafty Ramen offers take-out and delivery from its local noodle shops, and it's well-known for its unique ramen meal kits. They're even available in select grocery stores across the province.

Crafty Ramen is now headed straight to the Dragons' Den later this month, as it will be featured on the popular CBC show.

“We opened Crafty Ramen in the hopes of sharing the experience of Japanese culture and comfort with Canadians, so being on a national show like Dragons' Den, with all of Canada getting a taste of Crafty, is really a dream come true,” wrote Crafty Ramen co-founder, Miki Ferrall, in a social media post.

The episode is set to air October 27 at 8 p.m.
