Those excited to see a performance of Mama Mia! at the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse may need to wait a little bit longer, as a bout of COVID-19 cases has led to the cancellation of scheduled shows.
That news came from Drayton Entertainment on Saturday, as the entertainment company shared that positive COVID-19 cases had spread through the acting company – including understudies – resulting in the cancellation of scheduled performances on both Saturday and Sunday.
Shows set for next week are expected to proceed as scheduled, while Drayton Entertainment has indicated that any changes will be communicated on their social media channels as soon as possible. Those with tickets for the weekend showings are expected to be contacted by the entertainment company.
Unfortunately, due to positive COVID-19 cases spreading through the acting company and even our understudies, we must cancel this weekend's performances of Mamma Mia! at St. Jacobs Country Playhouse.
