Cambridge murder suspect makes brief court appearance

The suspect in Waterloo Region's latest homicide made a brief court appearance on Wednesday afternoon.

Adam Adonis De-Gannes, 24, has been charged with second degree murder. 

De-Gannes was arrested on Tuesday morning.

He has another court date on December 5.

Bradley Pogue, 24, of Cambridge, was shot in the area of Christopher Drive and Champlain Boulevard around 8 p.m. on Monday.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later pronounced dead.

Waterloo Regional Police say the investigation is ongoing by members of their Major Crime Unit, General Detectives and Forensic Identification officers.
