The municipal elections are set for Monday, October 22.
There are four candidates in the race to replace Ken Seiling as Regional Chair.
They are former Waterloo City Councillor Jan d'Ailly, former North Dumfries Mayor Rob Deutschmann, former MP and current Regional Councillor Karen Redman, and Jay Aissa.

In Kitchener, there will be four names on the ballot for mayor.
Incumbent Berry Vrbanovic is up against Jiri Marek, Narine Sookram and Myron Steinman.
