All-candidates meetings for public school board trustees to start next week

You can get to know those running for trustee with the Waterloo Region District School Board at a series of all-candidates meetings that start next Monday.
The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario-Waterloo Region is sponsoring the meetings.
“In past elections, there was no opportunity for public engagement with those seeking a seat on the WRDSB,” ETFO-WR Vice President, Jeff Pelich said in a news release.
“With the second largest, public-sector budget in our region, it is essential that the citizens of Waterloo Region have an opportunity to ask questions of their trustee candidates.”
The meetings will allow participants to engage with candidates through small-group discussions.
