There was a lot of change around the horseshoe in Waterloo during Monday's municipal election.
Four new city councillors were elected: Sandra Hanmer (Ward 1), Royce Bodaly (Ward 2), Jen Vasic (Ward 5) and Tenille Bonoguore (Ward 7).
Angela Vieth, Diane Freeman, and Jeff Henry were all re-elected, along with Dave Jaworsky as mayor.
Jim Erb and Sean Strickland were both elected to represent the city on Regional Council.

In Kitchener, there are three new faces on council: Christine Michaud (Ward 4), Margaret Johnston (Ward 8) and Debbie Chapman (Ward 9).
Scott Davey, Dave Schnider, John Gazzola, Kelly Galloway-Sealock, Bil Ioannidis, Paul Singh and Sarah Marsh were all re-elected along with Berry Vrbanovic as mayor.
Tom Galloway, Elizabeth Clarke, Michael Harris and Geoff Lorentz were all elected as regional councillors.

The big story in Cambridge was Kathryn McGarry defeating Doug Craig for the mayor's seat. Craig was trying for a sixth term.
She's the only new face on council.
Donna Reid, Mike Devine, Mike Mann, Jan Liggett, Shannon Adshade, Pam Wolf, Frank Monteiro and Nicholas Ermeta were all re-elected.
Karl Kiefer and Helen Jowett will represent Cambridge on Regional Council.

Due to online and telephone voting issues in Woolwich and Wellesley, polls will be open until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
For that reason, the Regional Chair is not expected to be declared until Wednesday afternoon.
The results for Regional Chair were removed from the websites of the area municipalities on Monday night.
