Sebrango invited to World Junior selection camp

The former Kitchener Rangers' blueliner is currently playing in the American Hockey League

Donovan Sebrango could be wearing a Team Canada jersey over the Christmas break.

The former Kitchener Rangers' defenceman was one of nine past and present Ontario Hockey League players invited to Canada's National Junior Team selection camp.

The third round pick of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings in 2020 is currently playing in the American Hockey League with the Grand Rapids Griffins. He has three assists in 17 games this season.

Current OHL players invited to the camp include: Shane Wright (Kingston), Mason McTavish (Peterborough) and Luke Evangelista (London). You can find the entire roster here.

The camp gets underway in Calgary on December 9.

The World Junior Championship begins in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta on Boxing Day.
