The Kitchener Rangers have added to their forward complement.
The team selected Slovakian right wing Filip Mesar with the ninth overall pick in the CHL Import Draft.
Mesar is 17-years-old and played for HK Poprad in Slovakia last season, posting four goals and 14 points in 36 games.
He also represented Slovakia at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Edmonton over the winter.
Kitchener turned to addressing its defense in the second round, taking 17-year-old Swedish defender Calle Odelius at 114th overall.
