The Ontario Hockey League held its sixth annual Under-18 Priority Selection for U18 AAA hockey players in Ontario on Thursday, with the Kitchener Rangers selecting a pair of forwards.
Centre Kristian Lamanna was drafted ninth overall. Lamanna was playing with the Mississauga Reps U18 AAA.
In the second round, Kitchener selected winger Yianni Koukouves of the Toronto Nationals U18 AAA at 29th overall.
A total of 52 players were drafted by OHL teams on Thursday evening.
