Rangers perfect to start pre-season

With wins over the Storm and Ice Dogs

Adam Zidlicky scored twice as the Kitchener Rangers doubled the Guelph Storm 4-2 in their second pre-season game on Monday.

The two teams played in front of a capacity crowd at the North Dumfries Community Complex in Ayr.

Hunter Brzustewicz also scored his first as a Ranger, and Marcus Vandenberg made 32 saves in the Kitchener net.

Kitchener's first win of the pre-season came Sunday afternoon at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. The Rangers downed the Niagara Ice Dogs 6-2 in front over 1,900 fans.

The Rangers host Barrie in their third pre-season game this Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Meantime, individual tickets for the 2022-23 regular season go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday. You can find more information on the team's website.
