Declan McDonnell could be the latest Kitchener Ranger to play at the World Junior Hockey Championship.

The forward was one of 31 players named to the preliminary roster for the United States, and will attend training camp in Plymouth, Michigan beginning December 12.

The Tampa Bay prospect is one of three OHL players to make the American list.

The others are Guelph's Sasha Pastujov and Sault Ste Marie's Tanner Dickinson.

McDonnell, a native of Lake View, NY, has collected 14 points in 19 games for the Rangers this season.
