He's not a bulk point producer, but he knows how to lay the body.
Navrin Mutter has been laying the boom on players since his arrival in Kitchener from Hamilton, and he's being rewarded for his play.
The undrafted soon-to-be 21-year-old --- his birthday is next Tuesday --- got an early birthday present, a three-year entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators.
He has 17 points in 44 games this season, split between Hamilton and Kitchener.
Mutter has really improved on his offensive production since the Rangers acquired him, while not sacrificing the physical style of play he's been known for during his OHL career.
