The Windsor Spitfires were able to get off to a quick start and ended up doubling the Rangers 8-4 at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Sunday evening.
The Spits were up 4-0 in the first before Adam Zidlicky scored Kitchener's first goal of the evening.
Francesco Pinelli also found the back of the net twice. The L.A. Kings prospect now has 13 goals on the season.
Final shots were 35-33 in favour of Windsor. Marcus Vandenberg took over for Marco Costantini, after Constantini allowed four goals on 14 shots.
The Rangers finished 1-for-3 on the power play.
Kitchener will look to halt its two game losing streak at home to the London Knights on Friday. CityNews 570 will have the pre-game show at 7 p.m.
