It will be a special Friday night at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium when the Rangers host the Barrie Colts.
Don Cameron Potato Night is back for a 27th year.
The late Don Cameron, who did radio play-by-play for the team for 50 seasons, helped start the initiative in 1996. Fans are encouraged to bring potatoes to the game, which will help support local families.
Cash donations will also be accepted at the game. As well, you can make a donation to the House of Friendship online.
Tonight's game will also see Rangers head coach Chris Dennis face his former team for the first time in the regular season. He was an associate coach with Barrie last season.
You can listen for the pre-game show on CityNews 570 at 7 p.m.
Tonight's the night! Your support will help feed families in need in Kitchener and Waterloo. A great game, and a great cause! #PotatoNight #StrongerTogether https://t.co/iZvN6GBUfW
