Region switching to weekly COVID updates

The Region of Waterloo is making another change in frequency it provides local data on COVID-19.
Starting next week, the region will provide the information once a week on its summary dashboard. Information will be updated on Fridays at 1:30 p.m.
The region had been providing the data on Tuesdays and Fridays. Previously, the dashboard was updated seven days a week.
If a Friday falls on a statutory holiday, it will be updated on the Thursday of that week.
The province also switched to weekly reporting just this week.
