PuroClean Restoration K/W Cambridge is offering free cleaning services to first responders and other essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It's part of the PuroClean Goodwill Initiative, which the organization began in May across seven provinces and 39 communities.

According to a news release, these services include a deep cleaning of bathrooms, break rooms, vehicles, vending machines, doorknobs, and other commonly touched surfaces in fire stations, hospitals, police stations, non-profits and more.

Within the region, PuroClean provided its services to Kitchener non-profit, Food4Kids. The company cleaned all frequently touched surfaces and spaces in the shelter, making them safer for staff to access, as well as families and children in need of their services.

President of PuroClean Canada, Jason Reis, says franchise owners, like Christina Reis and Chad Nicholson of the Waterloo Region branch, want to help make people's lives better and to give back to their community's first responders.

“We're grateful for the dedication and hard work of those on the front lines serving our communities in the face of our incredible challenges.” said Reis in the release.

“We are committed to doing all that we can to show appreciation and provide them with peace of mind while they work.”

PuroClean is also encouraging essential services and businesses across the region to get in touch with PuroClean Restoration K/W Cambridge to recieve free cleaning services. For more information, go to puroclean.ca.
