Wilfrid Laurier University is reporting two COVID-19 cases involving students at its Waterloo campus.

The university said one of the affected students has already completed their required isolation period, while the other is still in quarantine.

Any high-risk, close contacts have been notified by public health.

The cases are not connected and they're the first to be reported by Laurier since late August.
