The Ontario PC Party announced earlier this week that Jess Dixon was nominated as the candidate for the Kitchener South-Hespeler riding for the 2022 provincial election.

“We are excited to have strong candidates like Jess join our team ahead of next year's election,” said Brian Patterson, President of the Ontario PC Party. “Jess will be a strong representative for the people of Kitchener South-Hespeler.”

Dixon is a provincial and federal government prosecutor, who supports “alternative justice initiatives and evidence-based innovation” in criminal law.

She graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in philosophy, and completed law school at the University of Ottawa, where she worked in the Ministry of the Attorney General until being called to the bar, at which time she began working as a full-time Assistant Crown Attorney.

“I am honoured to have been nominated as your PC candidate,” she said in a news release. “I can't wait to hit the ground running by connecting directly with local residents and work hard for the people of Kitchener South-Hespeler.”
