Wellington Brewery took home five medals at the Ontario Brewing Awards on the weekend.
The Ontario Brewing Awards recognize brewing excellence across Ontario by awarding medals in over 30 different categories with each beer evaluated by BJCP certified beer judges. Wellington Brewery won awards for:
Gold: Chocolate Milk Stout
Silver: Arkell Best Bitter, Imperial Stout
Bronze: Special Pale Ale, County Brown Ale
It also received an honourable mention for its Faces Double IPA with Cascade & Chinook.
Guelph's Fixed Gear Brewing took home gold in the American wild ale category with its Cherry Training Wheels.
