Ontario's police watchdog says it's looking into the death of a 30-year-old man in the southern part of the province.
The SIU says provincial police got a call on Wednesday afternoon from a man in unspecified distress.
It says police then tried to determine his location, concluding he was by a roadside in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
The man was eventually found dead nearly two hours after the initial call.
No other details were provided.
The SIU is an arms-length agency that investigates incidents involving police in which someone is killed, injured or accused of sexual assault.
