Following Wednesday's storm, residents in Wellington County will be able to drop off tree branches and other brush to a variety of drop off sites.

Dropping off debris will be free of charge, however the county says the maximum branch length is six feet.

The locations for drop off are the Aberfoyle, Belwood, Harriston and Riverstown waste facilities.

Free drop off will continue until Saturday, August 13.

Tornado warnings were briefly issued Wednesday evening including in Waterloo Region, and in Wellington County.

Today, a team of meteorologists from the Ontario Storm Prediction Centre will be on scene to conduct a damage survey in order to determine if a tornado hit.

Storm watchers from Western University's Northern Tornadoes Project will also be on the ground today.
