Major closure on 401 starting Saturday night

All lanes will be closed on Highway 401 between Mississauga Road and Mavis Road starting at 10 p.m. Saturday and will reopen around 10 a.m. Sunday.

The closure will impact both eastbound and westbound lanes, and detour routes will be in place.

The closure is due to construction in the area.

Officials are asking drivers to plan accordingly.
