Highway 7/8 reopens west of Shakespeare (update)

The Ministry of Transportation reported a major highway closure on Wednesday afternoon.

The MTO said all lanes were blocked on Highway 7/8 between Road 109 and Road 108, just west of Shakespeare. 

It follows a collision in the area just before 4 p.m. 

The highway fully reopened around 6:30 p.m.

570 NEWS reached out to Ontario Provincial Police for details on the crash.
