Another full closure of Highway 401 is set for this weekend.
This closure is through Milton, and will include substantial lane reductions as well.
Highway 401 will be closed to traffic in both directions between James Snow Parkway and Trafalgar Road.
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) says the closure is to facilitate a permanent lane shift, and the removal of an old bridge at Trafalgar.
It's scheduled to begin on Saturday at 10 p.m. and continue until Sunday at 12 p.m.
In addition to the full closure, two lanes on both the eastbound and westbound 401 will be blocked between Highway 25 and James Snow.
The eastbound on-ramp from James Snow will be closed, as will the westbound on-ramp from Trafalgar.
If you're taking the 407 in the area, the on-ramp to the eastbound 401 will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Monday.
Trafalgar Road will be closed heading northbound in the area as well.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured using James Snow to Derry Road to Trafalgar.
Westbound traffic will take Trafalgar to Steeles Avenue to James Snow.
