GoFundMe raises thousands for missing Guelph hiker’s family

By Erin Anderson

As the search continues for a missing hiker in Joshua Tree National Park, a GoFundMe campaign has launched to help support the Guelph's man family.

Paul Miller has been missing since July 13.

An extensive search led by volunteers, helicopters, and multiple sets of search and rescue dogs have found no trace of Miller, and authorities started scaling back their efforts last Wednesday.

Canadians have already shown their support for the Miller family, with over $12,000 raised in under 24 hours.

A post to the website says, “We are asking for your help to remove any financial burden and stress for the family as they dive into this unknown future.”
