Staffing shortages have shut down the ER at the Clinton Public Hospital for the long weekend.
The hospital posting a message on it's website saying the Emergency Department will be closed for three days starting July 2.
Officials with the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance say there are not enough nurses and physicians available to cover those dates.
They note the department will re-open on Tuesday, July 5 at 8 a.m.
If anyone has an emergency Saturday-Monday, they are asked to call 9-1-1 and paramedics will get them to the nearest Emergency Department for care.
That could include travel to Seaforth, Goderich, Exeter or Wingham.
