Search continues for missing Bradford teen as family pleads for him to come home

By Canadian Press

The family of a missing teen from Bradford, Ont., is begging that he return home as a massive search effort for the boy stretched into its seventh day.

In a message to her brother Siem Zerezghi, Ruta Zerezghi says their family is worried about him, misses him and loves him.

The 15-year-old was last seen on Friday night, but South Simcoe Police say there’s now video evidence that he was at his home as recently as Saturday at 7:45 a.m.

Searchers have been scouring the community for Siem, using a drone, canine units, ATVs and checking individuals’ backyards.

Police Chief Andrew Fletcher says his officers are doing everything they can to find the teen and bring him home.

He says local residents have asked if they can join the search, but that it’s best to leave it to the professionals.

Fletcher says those who want to feel useful can help by spreading the word.
