One dead, one critically injured after Brant County crash

BRANT, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal crash Saturday night in Brant County.
They say two Sport Utility Vehicles collided on Highway 24 South just after 10 p.m.
OPP investigators say the driver of one of the SUV’s died at the scene while a passenger in the vehicle suffered life threatening injuries.
The passenger was first treated at a local facility before being transferred to a Hamilton hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the second SUV was treated locally for minor injuries.
Police say the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
