He was one of the toughest players to ever patrol the ice in the Ontario Hockey League, making his way from a Larry Mavety-coached team in Kingston to Sault Ste. Marie, where he won back-to-back championships under Ted Nolan. He would go on to a near-20 year pro career, mostly in Europe, and he even got to don his nation’s jersey at the Olympics…when he suited up for Italy. Oh, and the answer is no.
