Adopt Me: Junior's lack of sight doesn't slow him down! (adopted)

He is looking for a home with patient owners, where he would be the only pet

KitchenerToday, in partnership with the Kitchener-Waterloo & Stratford Perth Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hi there, I’m Junior. I’m a playful, energetic and curious puppy. I’m blind but that doesn’t slow me down at all! I use my sniffer and my hearing to get around.

I love playing outside, going for walks and playing with toys. I especially love balls that make noise!

I think I’m pretty smart and can mind map new areas fairly quickly. I’m also working on learning basic commands. I’m pretty good at them (unless I’m too excited).

I’m looking for a forever home with humans who have patience and time to teach me, work with me, play with me and love me! Since I can’t read behavioural cues, I would need to be your only pet. The humane society will also give my adopters a gift bag.

If you think we could be the perfect match, please fill out an application on the Humane Society’s website at

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
