My name is Dude and I am a carpet python who is eight years old and has a calm demeanour. I am a mix of the Coastal and Irian Jaya subspecies of carpet pythons. Did you know that there are seven subspecies of carpet pythons and they got their names from the resemblance of their patterns to oriental carpets?
As a species we are semi-arboreal so we do need an enclosure that gives us the ability to climb or hang out like we were hanging from the branch of a tree.
We also have a carpet python named Strider who is four years old and is also available to be adopted. Large snake experience is preferred when applying to adopt either one of us snakes and make sure to be aware of your local bylaws.
